Welcome to my website - "The Evolution of Consciousness". This website is the product of my personal project, which is all about consciousness and how it has changed and affected humans throughout their evolution. My project's aim is to communicate a basic understanding of our evolutionary imperative through this website. The whole project, however, is not based around our evolutionary imperative; you will see that I got sidetracked, and wrote about topics that aren't always so relevant to the aim, yet still interesting. Basically, I wrote about whatever I was interested in. Because consciousness is such a huge topic, you will see that I have chosen only certain aspects to write about, and put those subtopics into six different sections on this website. There is no required order in which to read them, but I would recommend working from the top to the bottom of the list. Since I delved into certain topics much more than into others, there are references to other sources which look more deeply into the topic than I have. There is a feedback page as well as forums at the bottom of each section, so please feel free to share your thoughts on all that I've written and the website itself. I hope you enjoy my website.
